Kady's Page
Hi, I'm Kady. I sure don't look like this anymore. I don't know where I come from but I remember being in a pet store with a lot of other puppies. I was purchased by a family whose older dog didn't like me very much. They took me to the Humane Society so I might find another home. My mom-person's friend worked at CAHS and let her know I was there. She and my dad-person came right away to see me. It was love at first sight. My mom-person thought that I should have a loving home where people enjoyed Airedale Terrors. I don't know what she means - we are really such wonderful dogs.
I have a great time living in the country. I have learned all the regular dog things like housebreaking and not to chew up everything I see. I still have what my mom-person calls "impulse control problems" whatever that is. It has something to do with stealing food from the table and kitchen counter every now and then. It's just sooo hard to resist! I love to play with Brianna. We play tag and wrestle. We argue sometimes but we always make up. There are other animals at our house to play with. You can see them on Our Friends page. I REALLY like to chase the chickens and geese! Now we have a cat and he's a lot of fun to play with, too. And I love to bark at the Cockatiel! When my mom-person is working it can be boring. I try to get her to play or take me outside by poking her with my paw or pushing my head under her hand so she can't type on the computer keyboard. When she first got her teaching job I helped her by chewing the cover off of the Teacher's Handbook. She didn't seem to appreciate my help. I am a very good girl. I don't have to stay in a crate when no one is home and I know my obedience commands very well. I have lots of toys and a favorite ball. I know I have found a wonderful forever home.
If you'd like to give an Airedale a forever home contact the Airedale Terrier Club of America (ATCA) Rescue and Adoption Committee for a contact person near you. Home/Brianna's Life/Kady's Page/OurFriends
